Switching to e-invoicing from 1 January 2027

From 1 January 2027 we will send our invoices as e-invoices (ZUGFeRD or XRechnung) by email. For this we need the email address to which invoices should be sent, and your preferred format. Please send us your details by 15 November 2026.

What is an e-invoice?

An e-invoice contains the invoice data in a structured, machine-readable format according to the EN 16931 standard. We are switching our invoicing to this format on 1 January 2027.

ZUGFeRD or XRechnung – which should I choose?

If you want to view invoices as a PDF as before, choose ZUGFeRD. XRechnung is right if your invoice processing system requires pure XML files, for example at public authorities.

We have several customer numbers

Your personal link covers all customer numbers of your company. You can use one address for all of them or enter a separate address for each customer number.

I am not the right person

Simply forward the link to the right department, for example your accounts department. The link is not tied to a specific person.

I do not have an email address for invoices

Any email address at your company where invoices are reliably read will do. If you are unsure, call us on +49 9153 922-0.
